A good place to stop for gas or water when heading south into northwest Florida. It has about 8-10 new passenger car pumps which I have used many times and probably the same number of larger tractor/trailer diesel pumps which I have not used.
Good food and coffee and assorted goods products in store at reasonable prices.
The customer service here is horrible. Night staff is rude and acts like the customers get on their nerves. Parked our truck for the night, went in for breakfast the next morning at 8am and they offer to sell us the scraps they had in the pan and got irritated when we asked for fresh eggs. Meanwhile they are cooking and putting out the lunch foid such as fried fish. At 8 am. They serve breakfast until 10! We wont be back.
Definite Go to Spot... if in the area & your short on hours and need a place that will have a spot for you when the other truck stops are full.
The Yellow Hammer is a bird, not a tool. Good food inside, not a chain. If the red beans and rice are the daily special, I highly recommend it.
